Sorry to hear BigSi I was looking forward to see you

Hope get well soon !!

I agree. Get better soon Si and we'll all see you at Donington, if not before.

It looks like my water leak is looking more minor now I have temporarily patched it.

See you tomorrow.

Sorry to hear the big guys not going to be there! Get some rest and see you at the next meet.

I should be at the POT tomorrow, so those who want calendars, grab me there as I'll have a boot full. For your club discount, remember to bring your ClubEsprit card.

See everyone tomorrow.

Just spoken to Si on his bedside phone. Understandably feeling a bit down and dissapointed at missing Stoneleigh, but said there will be other events to look forward to next year. Passed on alot of good wishes from you all.

Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk - that will teach us to keep mouth shut!

It was good while it lasted.

It was nice to meet some more of you guys. I was leading Tentenths, Kimbers and Martynv in a convoy along the M10 when my dodgy radiator failed.

I smelt it quickly enough to watch my radiator empty itself of coolant onto the hard shoulder.

It's safely at home now awaiting attention.

I will be at the Porridge Pot tomorrow, but not in my Elan.

See you there.

Well, it's mixed luck I suppose, bad that the rad went, good that you were able to avoid other damage.

My Esprit's gearbox isn't completly instaled, so Stoneleigh's out this year. I'l be finishing that tomorrow.

Andy

Re timing, can't remeber when it's due to finish, but I'd guess some time between 4 and 5. I've not found timing in the club lotus mag either.

Oh, an idea, you could call either the porridge pot (the pub) or the hotel the group of them are staying in, maybe Kimbers or one of the others know the time it will close.

Paul,

Dave Pink and I are travelling up from the Bristol area. Dave will leave J21 M5 @ ~06:30 and pick up a few people along the way:

Me at Michaelwood services @ ~07:15

Possibly Punky at Strensham @ ~07:45

The M5 South convoy at Frinkley South @ ~08:15

The Brummie Elans at J1 M42 @ ~08:45

Porridge Pot drunks @ ~9:05

Pop over to the LEC thread if you want.

... to watch my radiator empty itself of coolant onto the hard shoulder. :P

And pretty damn impressive it looked too, matey... :D

One minute, three Esprits being driven at tickover to flatter the blue Elan in front (:P), and the next the Elan driver goes into stealth mode and envelopes his car in an enormous cloud of steam :P

Think everyone was a bit surprised, particularly the two guys on the bike behind you!
