It has been noted that LEF'ers always enjoy a beer or two so once again we'll plan on some festive merriment in London.

Last years attendance was poor as it was before the 25th so this year we'll make it Friday the 28th if that's good for all.

Location, tbc but The Moon & Stars in Leicester Square has always served us well as we can go on the dodgems and head on up to the Trocadero too if the fancy takes us.

Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk - that will teach us to keep mouth shut!

Bugger you lot, Laura and I will have a lovely time thanks. :fun:

Well if it's a lovely time and not a pissup then

i'm sure Vicki and me will come join you...

Four's a good number anyhow, saves some loony

getting a calculator out when it comes to paying for

meals and that.

I know it's early, but shall i lock the thread at four?

99% sure I can make it - I'll have to see about taking the afternoon off as some of the sneaky bastards have already got in on x-mas !

Knowing me I wont be allowed becuase I am WAY too integral and a corner stone of the unit but if not I'll hop on the train for the evening.

Bummed I missed last year, you know I'm the beating poundng heart of a party !

Of course being a nutcase i've about a million holiday days left to take...

Two weeks at christmas, as i've done for the last 20 years, and i think i'm

going to take a week off next month to do nothing but lunch in the pub every

day and maybe walk along the fields by the river to, err, another pub.

Bibs got the score last weekend:

Friday

9.30am Pub, pint, bacon sandwich...

Pints, Pints, Pints, pub lunch, Pints, Pints, Pints, Curry, Pints, Pints...

Midnight, walk home from Pub.

Saturday.

Wake up.

Pub. Pint, lunch, Pints.

Home for a bit. Pint.

Pub. Pints, Pints, Pints.

Home. Rum, cake.

:fun:

I love this town.

I can make it Ok. To avoid confusion though I think its the "Moon Under Water" pub in Leicester Square where we went to last year. I suspect the "Moon & Stars" is somewhere near the "Mustard Pot" where Kimbers is going at Stoneleigh

In my defence, I was pissed

Oh, and if anyone finds themselves in Witney, Oxfordshire I'd recommend the Eagle Tavern on Corn St. Try a pint of Old Hooky (my fav) or they'll be 3 others on draught from the Hook Norton.

I'm very pleased to see that my local Sainsburys has (had) some Hooky 303 too

Yeah it is the Moon under Water, (weatherspoons bar ?)

We went there for the Rugby B)

Well, been promised I wont be on call (hahahaha see how long that lasts !!) but it'll have to be an evening thing as 4/5ths of the workforce is off that day and they can't let the cornerstone go.

Am not sure what day, but me and Vic are planning two days, one doing stuff like London,

the Tut show, the china army etc...

I don't like london and only go once a year, so want to casually wander and look round rather

then try to fit it all into one day and one overnight stop. Anyone else thinking of two days? Maybe

do london stuff on the 29th with an evening meal somwhere later?

:D
