Any more? It would be a real shame not to be able to get this off the ground but we'd need a few more numbers before we can go ahead & start making arrangements.

Just to confirm what you con expect to be getting for your money:

Day time activities (which could be anything along the lines of Human table football, quad biking, blind fold driving :), archery, and so on)

3 course meal & wine at the table

charity auction/raffle prizes

Fun casino and evening activities

and the most important thing is having a good time with friends and dancing/drinking the night away :)

There's lots of other little surprises we have in mind including special guests but it all depends on the interest and commitment really.

If this does generate enough interest we can soon get planning and give a realistic ticket price and let folk know exactly what to expect from the day.

Get voting folks, even voting no lets us know if this is a feasible event to hold :)

Right I've voted yes......

The thing that convinced me was Bibs and his suggestion of further spanking activities and the chance fr me to do a private dance to the highest bidder......

This is tentitively a booking for 2 people, although who knows if Lisa will still be wanting to be associated with me after 12 months of Simon lovin.......!!!!!

HI Laura, Bibs,

I want to attend (with partner) but want to know which month you have in mind, and I suspect many others maybe holding back on interest until a month is pencilled in. Timing vs family holidays etc have to be factored in for some people. A month may have been suggested in one of the threads but is lost in all the replies.

Are you in a catch 22? Need firm numbers to provisionally book, but people wont confirm until they know when its happening?

what are the basic costs and provisional timings, and location details with web links etc? Can this be pinned and kept separate?

Alex, I think most of your questions are answered in the first post of this thread.

The reason I started this new thread was to try and keep things clearer and easier to see. The details in the first post are all I have at present until we do get more commitment and can make a decision on if this is a go-er or not but they are a basic outline of what we hope to be able to do and where and when and for how much.

We're looking at the middle of October at the moment (which although isn't exactly summer hopefully it wont clash with too many people holidays and the weather will still be ok)

Exactly that! We don't need firm numbers yet just enough interest to take us up to the minimum numbers to make it cost effective (about 150 people)

It's likely the day will start around mid day, have some day time fun before a break to let everyone make themselves beautiful before meeting up again for dinner early evening then the charity bit & fun after dinner until you can drink no more!
