My avatar apears to be paging between the old one and the updated one, seems almost alternate, I get a different one each time I log on, mad cat should be gone but he keeps coming back.

This cat seems to have more than 9 lives, when I log on I could get either mad cat or Elan, if I get the cat, refresh the page and I get the Elan, refresh it again the cat's back!

Go figure?

Try this -

Firstly, exit LEF using 'log out' (top of page, adjacent to username)

Firefox user - Tools > Clear Private Data

Or Internet Explorer - Tools > Internet Options > General Tab > Delete Cookies > Delete Files > Clear History

The forum software is very efficient and to lower bandwidth you cache (ie store locally) all images until a new one is requested. Each time you load a forum page and your cache is intact you actually take very little info from the server, the rest is pulled from your machine.

In this instance, I would say that either a hard refresh or emptying your cache would have cured the problem.

Erm, try resetting your intercacheweb, innit
