came across this 9 Porsches on my bicycle tour yesterday.

parked on hotel parking.

all of them covered with a cloth :-)

Some time back, I posted a link to a similar view of the inside of a space shuttle. This one is the Flight Engineer's position on a B-36. I believe they carried two Flight Engineers....an interesting hark back to the days when the reciprocating engine still ruled and before electronics!

Edited to add.... Having had a better look at the tour, you can scan right round and inspect the pilot's position, too! All those fondly remembered round dials.....all flat screen displays, these days! And I finally found the throttles for the 4 jet engines...these provided extra power for takeoff and maximum speed, over and pbove what the 6 pusher Pratt and Whitneys would give!
