Yes Yasuo, I would assume we will stay in the Holiday Inn express like last year (assuming we can book it early...maybe we ought to get it sorted now) We also need to book the pub early as well, for the Saturday night, the last minute booking last time resulted in them running out of food.

Yes it's definately on the 18th and 19th April as it's a day after my B'Day!

I'll be there over the weekend and probably staying at holday inn or travel lodge at Donnington Services.

We had a table booked for 20+ people in the name of lotus esprit forum.

Then, before we arrive, some french lotus club chance upon the pub (about 20 of them),

the manager asks "Are you the lotus people?", they say "oui!", and no doubt were chuffed

to bits to be seated and fed immediately. "Cest bon!!!", someone nearby heard from the

nice private upstairs dining area.

Meanwhile, we arrive to find no space, get dotted arounf the pub on seperate tables, and the

food options run out as each table makes it's order until the last table has almost no choice

at all. What pub can cater for an unexpected party of another 20 people?

This time, we book using SOMEONES NAME AND SURNAME and do not mention the word 'Lotus'!!!!

That Thistle is cheaper than the Holiday Inn Express, it's now the official LEF hotel for Donny. I've just spoken with them and will be speaking to their revenues manager on Monday morning regarding a further discount for LEF members so don't book yet!

I'll book that boozer again, it was ace
