Hello,

I've to change the cambelt on my 89 Esprit Turbo, and therefore I've to remove the V-belts pulley...but how can I prevent the engine from turning when I loosen the bolt?

Many thanks for your advices

I generally do it, in-gear with the wheels on the ground. put the socket and T bar on the bolt and whack the T bar with a heavy piece of timber. Works for me and would probably still work with the car off the ground.

Yup - works fine up in the air with the brake on!
