Well, Lotus ownership is (slowly) bringing me back into photography, too...

 

Here are some pictures I took last weekend (not sure why but the framing is changed when uploaded. Double click needed to get the correct framing).

 

The pictures were taken with Steven (Rotaryspeed). Funny enough Steven and I live 20 min. away from each other but we met here, in TLF.

 

He may want to post some of his pictures (either of my Evora or his Esprit Turbo SE),which I think are pretty good.

Hi . . . new to the forum. Just thought I'd drop by and post some pics of the 2014 Evora S I ordered 2 months ago. I pick it up on Thursday, but I dropped by the Lotus dealer/agent and took some pictures.

 

Hopefully I'll be able to get some better pictures in more interesting locations at some point . . .

Spot my Evora and then guess the car in the foreground and the red car in the background

Good question. I'm going Le Mans style Bentley tourer in the foreground and Porsche Carrera GT V10 in the background.

 

Both guesses really. The only thing that makes me think CGT is what appears to be a yellow brake calliper behind a 5 spoke wheel.

The Porsche is indeed a Carrera GT

 

The car in the foreground is a Bentley, but its not a LeMans style tourer.  Its an original LeMans racer, a blower Bentley that is being driven by Derek Bell at classic Le Mans

While replacing the rear tires I took the opportunity to respray the wheels as well. Never liked the look of Diamond cut on a Motorsport black car. But since the car was in stock at the dealer I didn't had much choice then. But now I've gone with satin gold as per the GP edition. Really like the look of it. Especially when the sun is out, the match of the gold flakes in the paint with the wheels are a perfect match.

Very beautiful. Normally I don't like black cars, but Evora with golden wheels looks good.
