s4 brakes

time to swap pads on my s4 with brembo brakes ,do i need to depressurize before pad replacement ? also what make of pads could be recommended cheers

There's no need to de-pressurise unless you want or need to check the fluid level.

I'm considering trying EBC Yellowstuff on my next pad change. If you don't mind the dust they appear to tick the right boxes and generally get good comments.

Ive fitted yellowstuff on my S4, litterally tonight..although I cant coment on what theylll be like as it wont be turning a wheel for another month or two

I've been using them for a couple of years (I get EBC half price as I'm a motorsport marshal!) and they're good pads.

If you fancy something of a more standard and less expensive nature, i have used a 'normal' mintex pad which i believe also fits the S type Jaguar, and these have proved perfectly acceptable for normal use.
