For sure, but I was thinking about black braided hose with some Goodrich connectors. Just do the lot. The cost would be minimal but without that thread type and size i'm buggered.

Any body else in class happen to know the size?????? :gathering:

Is this just a nylon type material that you want to shorten and refit? If so the procedure will be similar to making up TR6 fuel injection hoses. You need to make a simple jig/die. Take 2 pieces of hardwood (or similar) and clamp them together in a vice. Drill a hole centred on the join that is maybe .010 smaller than the O/D pipe. countersink a further hole to the length of the stub. This should be maybe 0.10 larger than the O/D pipe. The finished tool can now be clamped around the pipe, preferably in the vice again. The stub can then easily be tapped, with a small hammer, into the pipe.

Thanks for all the advice, I have decided to replace with new pipes, as a temp measure with rubber fuel injection hose, however as a further project I will be fitting black braided pipes with black connectors, when I can find the thread type of the connectors currently on. (Sorry don't know what they are called)
