Didn't Bibs esprit have a wing on it? Where'd that go?

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has them, some just stink more than others.

I see they say it's a Cat "D"....so something nasty has happened to it, and the insurers have declined to repair it....? Could be anything from paintwork scratches on up, but it's a great pity considering the pedigree.

Would have thought youd keep the Reg Bibo

He gets this one back within the next 12 months if things go to plan.

Plate BI8 LEF is up for offers if anyone is interested. I gave Bibs first offer already. All costs for transfer or a deal on ideally a SE turbo spoiler being an option.

They're much cheaper to buy in the UK, less scarce too. In France, for instance, your rarely see an S4s or a V8 under the 35-40k€ price tag. When you compare this to the 15-20k£ in Britain, the choice is easily made...

To Eddie111S: do you know the area of France Bib's old SE has moved to?

Its a great car. Super quick, and solid. Feels like a new car with the suspension. I posted a video on You Tube. Hervé S4S see you are close in Brittany. Depends how far though. Car is en Sarthe. Mate of mine has an S4S here in Sarthe too.

Thanks Bibs, only proper the original owner put the link up. I hesitated, but happy you did it. Goes really well your motor. In safe hand over here mate. Maybe when you buy a property here, you can buy her back :-)

I won't be selling my Turbo. It was nice to watch it following me (as well as it could), as I went for a blast in the countryside.

Latest update..... Waterpump back together, with refurb kit from Lotus Bits. Was the cheapest I could find, after checking with various other well known Esprit parts specialists. Put is back on the car yesterday. Lots of swearing and cursing later with the help of Nigel mate of mine (bloke who done Durratech conversion), we got it on there. One under the car, one above the only way to do this job. Apparently doing the waterpump with the engine in the car is something to be proud of. Then cam belt, alternateur. Nearly there now.
