Your car...

Recommended Posts

With so many Esprit's attending the factory it's a great opportunity for Lotus to make records of cars in a digital format, something which they are currently lacking. As Lotus are being so kind and holding this event for us (at a substantial loss I would like to add!) I have agreed that we'll do all we can to help them out.

Can everyone attending (who wishes to help, which I would like to think is everyone) please list your car below with details of any and all modifications, no matter how small. Lotus can then see which cars they would like to record details off and can take pics on the day. These pics may be used for anything in the future at Lotus's sole discretion and if you're not happy with this, please don't post your cars details.

I would imagine that the outcome of this record taking will be for our benefit, so please help out

Bibs,

Do you want Vin numbers or do the Factory identify in some other way.

Graham.

Just to clarify, guys. The sort of use for this info is in mod work they do themselves (Did you know you can have your car worked on by Lotus?) or even for press/advertising use at sometime. So it's it will be great if you could help us out.

When you say modification. Does this also include for example...

Replaced Machanical CC Pump with Electric CC Pump

Replaced stand brake hose with s/s braided

and things like

Replaced gear shift translator. Its not a mod as such just replaced through wear and tear?

Or is it just actual -

Fitted a Dump valve sort of performance mod in terms of the car never had one but I've fitted one so thats a mod.

Sorry if this sounds dumb but Im sure for many of us its the difference between loads of 'mods' and a few genuine 'mods'.

I would say anything that isn't the same as it was when it came out of the factory.

The pics will be what and how Lotus want them and I doubt if we can guarantee no plate, however for all intents and purposes I doubt it they will need a picture of your registration plate!

PS Can we keep this thread 'strictly business', thanks :)
