Nope--and it's not my son--but I know another Loti who bought his son a Lotus, and that fortunate young lad is much younger. I'll email the thread to pops and see if he's comfortable commenting because I (and my son) thought it was way cool.

I bought my son a Seven when he was 2. He'll be four in a few weeks. ANd it'll be a couple of years 'til he's old enough to do restoration work.

Kudos to the OP for having the insight to buy his son a Lotus at a very early age. I am sure he is thrilled.
