I like my Ps3, better than my Xbox360, but I feel like the programmers were just getting a hang of making good games for the current tech.  I don't want to invest in the new big thing and then have to play rough partially finished games until they figure it out again...

We've still got only a PS2 and that hasn't seen electricity for nearly 2 years if not longer. :huh:

I think I'll stick to my PS3 as its a damn good 3D bluray player. What they need to do is kick the backsides of the game developers, the new Skyrim add-on which apart from only just being available to us poor schmucks who have a PS3 is still only 720p resolution. For what is without doubt one of the very best games to be available for the PS3 the picture quality is total absolute crap. If you look at what people are achieving with add-ons for the PC and the kind of results you get on the PS3 it is really, really p**s poor. O.K. you don't get crashes with the PS3 as you do with the PC but the quality of the graphics are pathetic. It seems the manufacturers are aiming at the techno lemmings again just like the iphone 5

I doubt whether the PS4 has a greater picture resolution as 1080p seems to be the best available at the moment, although many games for the PS3 are 1080p which do look very good I have no doubt software companies will rush out games for the PS4 but I bet a few will still be in 720p.
