Hi Gordon, just to say thanks as you are doing a first class job of co-ordinating the Alford event. I am obviously still stuck overseas the Kazi, sorry Kazakhstan ( not much difference) and looks like I may miss it, presently 2 weeks over my rotation and pi++ed off but I am keeping an eye on how things are building up and it looks like being another great weekend. On a side note All members of Club Lotus North East Scotland are covered for Public Liability Insurance as long as they Note on any entry form that they are participating/showing as part of Club Lotus North East Scotland, and have Club Lotus membership, obviously there are limitations to the cover.

If I dont make it have a great weekend and may the sun shine on you all, you have dry tarmac and a good turnout.

From one very pi++ed of Lotus Enthusiast who is stuck in Kazakhstan with the sunshine but only mozzies for company.

Brilliant Gordon!

We will get some great photos. There will be more than 150 people attending as we have a good number of invited guests confirmed and we may yet provide limited access to casual visitors. It will look very busy!

Mike.

Hi,

For everyone meeting at Gairnshiel Lodge for the BBQ on Saturday. We have Guests leaving at 10am so me and Justine will be cleaning the rooms and changing the linen, we should be finished by 4pm. You're more than welcome to turn up at anytime in the afternoon and use the garden and decking but I won't be out to play until the marigolds are off.

I thought we might start the BBQ at 6pm?

The Lodge can be found here... http://goo.gl/maps/soLSb

See you Saturday, cheers Archie

cheers Arch

Hi Archie

Living room will be great, going to let Lorna bring over the 'new' Elan so will have 2 green M100's

One thing I haven't done yet is sorted out "breakfast club" type breakfasts anywhere because we are running later than usual with the start of the event.

Is the plan that people who are with you will be having something to eat before they leave Arch or will I arrange something?

GTM said a while back that they might be able to do something in the cafe for us and I can also enquire if we can get one of the food outlets on site early for bacon sarnies etc...... They will also have a BBQ on the go I believe

Any thoughts on this guys?

Can you give me a list of people who will be comming from further away who want me to arrange something or indeed, those local who want me to arrange breakfast up here please?

Thanks

Gordon, I was just gonna do bacon rolls and coffee for anyone that turns up on Sunday Morning. Would that do?

Hi guys, now confirmed that I will not be home in time for this brilliant event so you can guess how peed off I am at the moment, even Kens Skye run is looking a bitt iffy, so here's hoping you have a brilliant weekend and some save me loads of pics so that I can get it in the club magazine.

Enjoy.

I don't think you have paperwork from Philip Imperiale. Can he or anyone else fill it out on the day?

Thats not a problem. We can get by without the paper work for Philip, I just wanted to provide as much information as possible to GTM up front so that they have the details.

We will all have to sign the GTM documentation when we arrive anyway which covers every thing they need and go through the usual safety briefing.

Count yourself lucky that you are not going to have to do an Autotest against a proper marque this time Al..... not that I am suggesting that you got an easy draw at SpeedFest of course!!

Hope you had a great holiday.

Sorry I didn't make it up to  the BBQ tonight guys.

I plan to be at GTM by about 12:00 tomorrow to get things set up.

We may be entering through the West gate tomorrow rather than the East gate we went in for SpeedFest.

Brian / Arch

I have your mobile numbers so I will send you a text when I know where we you will be entering arena and you can do the Pied Piper bit!

Weather is not looking great at the moment but here's hoping!

I only joined this forum today. Looks like ive just narrowly missed an event where i could have shown off the Europa S. Theres always next time. Reading back on previous events it looks like the speedfest at the grampian transport museum is a good one!
