Do what so many freedom - loving people of these isles fought and died for-and vote tomorrow.

 

If necessary, vote for the least worst candidate (and regrettably that is often the only choice) .

 

But just vote !

I don't normally go near politics on a forum as it's such a highly-charged subject in a written dialogue.  But I'm firmly with Russell Brand here.  It's my opinion that the system is broken, and nobody out there right now will put it right.  Manifesto promises are always wonderful, but the reality is that power generates the desire for more power at the cost of all else.

Totally respect anyone's desire not to vote , we live in a democracy after all so its always a personal choice. There`s nothing emotive about it as its eniterly up to the individual to choice what they do or not do with their cross.

I got into local politics last year at a very low level (Parish Council) and have just be voted in as Vice Chair. There is huge dissatisfaction with politics, my dissatisfaction with my ward cllrs is why i got involved. But the only way I can see to make some small changes is to get involved and vote.

 

But fully accept others right not to.
