Thanks for the seat runner info, though I'm not sure I like the idea of locking the seat in position, I tend to move it back when getting in/out and forward to drive (i'm a short arse!)

My runner has started a slight wobble.

My old S2 also wobbled.

Perhaps these seats aren't made for the more *cough* muscular fellow....

What brand are you using for the reverse camera?

It's a Conrad one, but I'm sure it is pretty generic to the Ebay ones.

18.5mm reverse camera.

What phone holder is that?

That's the Osomount U-grip.  (Osomount.eu temporarly down).

Have one in the company car as well, highly recommended.  Phone is a Nexus 5.

As it's a suction cup fitting, what have you attached it to on the car?

Where you seem to have it is concave?

The suction cup worked no problem on that slight concave dash.  At least after I cleaned and degreased it  :D

More than a month now, no issue.

Cheers

Think I'll buy one.

I bought a Spider holder after a link was posted on here, but it's pretty crap!

Lug bolts painted :D

And removed the locking bolt... as they also give me problems

I did originally think of removing my locking bolts like I did on my S2 as they are a pain and weak.  Not got around to it yet.

I also did wonder what black bolts would look like, I think they work well on the black wheels, as I have diamonds the silver contrasts too.

the all have a bit of play... been thru the same thing.

For the tall chaps like me that suffer for our art Gav suggested replacing the RHD runners with LHD passenger runners to get a few mm more room, should also make the seat rock solid!

  • 3 months later...

Decided I wanted an AFR gauge with wideband sensor to monitor the AFR's real time.  Good indication "everything is well" with the engine.

Came up with this (oh and replaced the headunit with a mechless BT enabled one... surprised how good the handsfree calling is).

AEM AFR gauge below; commanded AFR is shown on a 5.5" android device with Torque app.

Since I also have a reverse camera installed:

GPS; tablet is connected to the headunit so I hear the guidance over the cars' speakers... Same goes for my Coyote app... I now FINALLY hear something if a radar is near.
