Intial geo check

Bit of a crap photo, but this is the car on the ramp having the geo check. Now I know the truth, the previous owner tried hard but could do better...

Yes, and actually the KwikFit blokes were both nice, and really clued up. I asked some pretty searching questions about the Hunter kit, and they fielded them well.

They adjusted the tracking, against their rules, because the rear wheels are out, told me to go for a drive, and the car does at least run straight now, it's much better.

I'm relieved that the chassis isn't bent, I took quite a few piccys while it was on the ramp, and the blokes there were asking me all kinds of questions, like whether the Elise is harder to get in and out of, and whether engine access was any more difficult!

Cost me £44, and I now have an accurate read out for when I go to Lipsombe, and I now know it does need adjusting. Full marks to Cliftonville KwikFit!

The old saying that "You can't get thicker than a Thick-Git fitter" is not necessarily true.
