Hello guys looking at the photo of the late grand prix driver Ronnie Peterson ,i was wondering if the black esprit S2 he was presented with is still in existance ,and are there esprits out there that have been owned by people in the public eye.As i havnt been on the site for a while sorry if my threads might repeat that which iv already covered.I think the s2 esprit s the sharpest, and most stunning of all the esprits,but the rest are stunning also (diplomat) James belfast.

Chris Evans had an Evora at one point (wasn't his the Freddie Mercury one?) and I think has an S1 Esprit.

 

Gordon Murray has an Elan and possibly another Lotus.

 

Adrian Newey had an Exige race car.

 

Didn't Naomi Campbell do something with an Evora to raise money for Haiti a while back?

Chris sold both cars quite quickly sadly.

 

Adrian Newey recently sold his Exige GT3 and the "Naomi for Haiti" Evoras were a donation from Lotus to her charity, I don't think she had one herself.

Hmmm, current famous owners of my Esprit I imagined (dreamed) would be old rock stars, but then again, their knees and backs are not Esprit-friendly, somewhat like mine!
