That was a busy afternoon, especially the last hour. Hope everybody that had a run in the Cup enjoyed themselves, especially the marshals, Gordon and Callum at the end, I know I did. Wish I had put a go pro in the car for some of the reactions, priceless.

Top day, great fun.

Yes, thanks to Gordon for all his hard work organising the event. Thanks too to all at Grampian Transport Museum for allowing LEGS to showcase our Lotus cars. Finally thanks to all the Lotus owners that took part. Well done everyone. Looking forward to the official photos.

Mike..... Awesome car!

Thanks for bringing it along.

Carlene is off to put a lottery ticket on tomorrow. She is no stranger to Ferrari's but she says yours is the best car she has been in in her life!

What a great day out, many thanks Gordon. Apologies to everyone who got stuck behind the old girl, especially the couple of laps I did with a young lad who told me not to go fast! But the Esprit survived, even if she did get a bit hot and bothered at the end of her stints. I have to say it was a pleasure taking everyone out, some really nice comments came our way. One of my rides has a Lotus Carlton, number 50. Is he on here?

I agree with Bibs, Gordon it looks like you pulled another great day at Alford. I was realy happy to see so many CLNES cars also joined in to keep the numbers up with the older models.

Well done and hopefully next year I can be there.

Gordon, thanks for organising this and arranging for the weather too. A great day out and the first time I have ever displayed a car.

Please find attached some pictures, I took about 70 in total!!!  A cracking selection of cars on show and on track, my favourite being the 1972 (I think) Elan in the blue, white and gold. A cracking car...

I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. I'll probably leave it in the same way.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

Just a point on pictures from Sunday, if you have a Flickr or Photobucket page where you have saved your pictures, please feel free to add links to this thread in addition to your favourite pictures.

@ Brian, Allan, Mark: Do we have a Flickr page we could use for LEGS pictures that anyone could add to?

I have created a Flickr page that people can post their pictures to.

It should be accessible so that anyone can upload pictures, please give it a try :)

Hi Gordon

Have tried to upload pictures but I think it is not a group page like the Scottish Elises as I can post pictures on it.

https://www.flickr.com/groups/scottishelises/pool/

Jim

Hi Jim

OK, see what you mean here, the problem seems to be that you have to be logged into Flickr on another account to enable you to upload pictures onto either Scottish Elises or LEGS Forum.

Any suggestions on how to do it if you don't have a Flickr account?

Hi Gordon

I have a Flickr Pro account and I cannot upload to the LEGS Forum as it is not setup as a group like Scottish Elises which is a group. You will have to setup a group for other people to upload pictures.

Not aware of a way to upload to Flickr without an account but I will have a look into it and get back to you.

Think this is now set up as a group so anyone can join and upload pictures.

Hey folks, sorry for slow replies regarding those who requested photos - that thing called work was getting in the way :-(

I've fired some photos onto my flickr/into the group twinrotor2 has shared, so anyone who was unable to view them on my fb should be able to see the ones I selected for flickr here - https://www.flickr.com/photos/redlinecal/

Anyone else i've missed or is after photos just give me a shout and I'll get back to you asap with them.

Now on with the video edit :)

Cheers.
