Alternator and pulley

i'm looking for the dimensions of the alternator pulley anybody know them? I have a totally wrong alternator (MB 55Amp) in my car.

Also i would like to know a part number for the alternator, I know alx48 bosch but I can not get this overhere. Any suggestions??

Or if someone has one (broken) for sale i'm interested in it.

Actually that's BOSCH AL49X

 The AL49X crosses to some BMWs and Audis. 

 

 

Ask for:

 

BMW: E30 (MY '86-'91), E24 (MY '86-on), E23 (MY '96-'97), E28 (MY''86-'88) (not M series cars); some Audi 100/200 (Audi 5000 in USA)

If somebody could give me to dimension of the outside diameter of the pulley I would be gratefull.

Normally you swap the OEM pulley to the new alternator. Hopefully the one on your incorrect unit is the same size.

 

 

The lower bolt (the one on the nylon strap) needs to be longer to fit the Bosch.  You also need to "clock" the Bosch (turn the end housing) so that your Esprit's wiring is not strained.   It's easy...

 

 

You also need to assure that the spacing to the pulley (offset) is correct so that the belt is "straight"
