Would have been good to see Lotus cars actually running on the Hill Eg: former Grand Prix cars from when

Lotus Formula 1 cars were 'real' Lotuses and/or a Lotus Exige V6 or even a prototype Evora 400 in the

modern GT and sports cars 'batch'. Perhaps they were there but I just didn't see them on the internet feed??

Hope so! Running a prototype Evora 400 and/or an Exige V6 in the "modern GT and sports cars" would have been good publicity and would have been an easy way of capitalising on the publicity generated for Lotus by the

unveiling of the 3-11. Perhaps they thought it could detract from the attention given to the 3-11 but given the timing of the unveiling and the time of the modern GT and sports cars run on the Hill, I don't

think this would have been the case.

A couple from Goodwood last Sunday...Lotus BRM H16 and the record holder for the Brooklands Outer Circuit, the Napier Railton....143.44 mph. Only rear wheel brakes...no seat belts...no barriers to stop you flying off the bankings. Brave souls, indeed....
