Whats the view like from your office?

Here is my view, the cheshire plains, Jodrell Bank Radio Telescope about 5 miles in the distance, looking in the direction towards wales.

My office doesnt actually have any windows (artificial light all day is a pain), so this is the view from our 3rd floor balcony, About 20 yards from the office.

The Porta cabins are there because we have tons of building work going on!

Whats your view, a description is ok.

My office is my van. :)

Different every day.

Most days i could get a shot of some famous Oxford 'postcard' landmark

in the background of wherever my van is parked. Today i was working at

a 16th century thatched cottage, which looked really nice in this mornings

snow (pheasants in the garden, fox tracks in the snow etc).

My personal idea of hell, is working the same place, with the same people,

with the same journey to work, every day, year in year out. Just heading for

the same city does my head in!!!

Will post some 'inpector morse' style shots of my van in front of something

famous when i'm back there next week.

:)

Worked for nine years in London for a multi billion dollar US Defence company.

My office overlooked the sewerage pits @ the mogden sewerage plant in Isleworth. My office window was 50 metres from the pits themselves. If the day got above 15 Deg C, the air became unbreathable. :)

Really was a crap place to work. :)

I don't think you really want to see a picture.

I work in a dungeon. :)

My office is sealed with a coded door and no windows, for security reasons!

The plus side is, I have my own bed, DVD player and a tea b1tch. :)

John

It sounds like you are working at 'Her Majestys Pleasure'. :)

PC's in prisons ............ whatever next! :)

Bibs,

Why does it look like there's no front end on your car ? it looks like the bonnet has disappeared in to the wall or something :D . Hope its just an odd angle on the photo :D

Every day the view changes, but the sun always shines...one of the advantages to sitting in the front of a B737. The disadvantages, include; lack of space, having to share said lack of space with another [frequently smelly] colleague, and the fact that the office moves a lot, sometimes quite violently.

One day it's the Alps, next day Etna, Venice, London, Reykavik (Iceland looks like the surface of the moon), the Med, and sometimes if we are really lucky, the person serving the coffee is the best site of the day :D

The view from my office is not quite so varied these days but a couple of years ago it was like this:

Or another day it could be like this:

2) View from one of the lawns at work, boys practicing football.

:D Holy cow, the sea state in that last shot is unbelievable - a real 'colour of adrenalin' moment!

I've been out sailing or fishing in some pretty heavy seas over the years but, thankfully, have never experienced anything anywhere near to those sort of conditions. Next time I contemplate complaining about being chucked around in a small cockpit I'll remember that shot and consider myself fortunate.

Wow, that last sea photo looks very scary :D

That reminds me moment I was with my parents sailing our boat in really bad strom. Waves were so high that I couldn't see anything else, that was my scariest moment on lake...but that's nothing compared those "big" scale photos.

Bibs have you been working in nuclear power station? Cause that sunset looks very colourful :D
