meeting thursday 14th april (new venue?)

Recommended Posts

Just re-reading the thread, looks like there could be a record turnout of cars

  • 7 Esprits - 2 G Turbos, 4 later shapes - not sure of the model designations - maybe a V8
  • 1 or 2 Evoras
  • M100
  • 1 Elise
  • 1 Exige

Hope the car park is big enough :)

Chris

Anyone else?

There'll be one less G Esprit but one Excel tomorrow.

Went to go out tonight - and discovered I have a puncture on the nearside rear - bugger.

Re-inflated it, but going by the hiss, it is losing air

And an m3?  Car park fine

I will probably be in my work van to prevent the M3 getting vandalised ;)

Plenty of trout though!

Summary

1 Evora - Dave

1 Excel - Chris

2 Elise - Mark and Martyn

3 Elan M100 - Pete, Dave and Dave

3 Esprit - Pete, Wayne and Paul

( a Forester (Phil) and a van (James)).

Also Quinn and Dansie but no John Deighton due to technical issues

Even Colin Chapman turned up, albeit in a Jaguar. To be fair he does use the pub every Thursday with his golfing mates.

A lot of interest has been raised locally and people are already asking when we will be back. All the kids around here are now aspiring future Lotus owners, and have mentioned perhaps a Sunday meet.

Jacqui and the girls would also love to welcome us back. Chef has said if we were to pre-order our food he will happily give us more time for tyre kicking. Weather permitting I can also arrange more parking on the grass.

OK with me too.

There's the Sunday lunch in Colchester a few days later.
