Very nice!  :)

I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. I'll probably leave it in the same way.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

I thought it was just me who was the pedantic one :)

Actually I think the terms "Turbo Esprit" and "Esprit Turbo" are interchangeable. On my V5 it says "Esprit Turbo" although Lotus marketed it as "Turbo Esprit".

If Gordon had referred to it as an "S3 Turbo" that would have got me all agitated.

A bit like tomato tomato?

All we know is that when they stop making this, we will be properly, properly sad.Jeremy Clarkson on the Esprit.

Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has them, some just stink more than others.

Looks fantastic, Gordon! How about a heads-up next time - I'd love to see it at an event like this!

JustinB, I only got the green light from the organisers to show my Esprit the week before.  I also had my Daimler SP250 entered and it took until the 11th hour to get a driver for the Esprit too.  The Kiawah Island Motoring Retreat is a new event, and this was its first big year.  There were smaller events a couple of years back.  One thing I notice showing the Turbo Esprit (@buddsy, you utter utter utter pedantic w**ker :)) is that its nearly always blokes around their 30's and 40's that really stop to look at it and that's it.  I am surprised by the number of American car guys that say they have never seen one in real life.  But I guess they sold in such small numbers here.

Small numbers, and also, I would think, concentrated in 'supercar' areas like South Florida and Southern California.
