Delco Moraine ABS brake pressure switch is obsolete, so...

Given that the S4s Delco Moraine brake pressure switch is obsolete, replace it with one of the FESTO PENV switches from the eBay.

Just an idea.

John, if one of these switches (as I found quite a few) is a replacement, it might be worth putting a post in the Parts Cross Reference area as well.

I think the switch number to look for is PENV-PS/O-S-L-GH (152706) . Manufactured by FESTO

I will find out more this weekend.

I just looked that Festo P/N up. It's a vacuum pressure switch, not a hydraulic one. Have I missed something here?

I would say not Ian,if its a vacuum switch then i would say its not a suitable replacement and for a braking circuit slightly dangeroosey.

FESTO switch could be used for controlling electric vacuum pump (non ABS).

It is a vacuum switch.

 I have to admit to a slight pang of guilt reading this thread as i have a brand spanking new(grey) pressure switch languishing in my tool box if and when i should need one,i bought it years ago in Ostende from the Lotus dealer there, actually i bought 2 at the time and sold one.Slowly the switch will be worth more than the car.
