You could even clear coat the track rod ends Wayne to stop them going rusty,  also paint a little on the exsposed nuts and bolts .....

Suspension looks awesome all painted up   :thumbup:

Found a replacement servo for the TE.

same bolt patterns and sizes. Diameter is about 20mm smaller. 

Problem was that the operation piston had the wrong connection. As you can see it’s like a clevis loop. 

Any way I cut the loop off and made a female adapter with a roll pin to fix in place. Screw a stud and lock nut in and presto. Adapted. I have made sure that all the pressure is transferred onto the stud and not the roll pin by screwing in the stud until it bottoms onto the piston shaft before locking off. Once it’s fitted it should cure the small leak and then the brake and vac pump conversion is pretty much finished.

Well that’s a relief. Thought when you and Ian ( chilli dog) made a late night (12 midnight to be precise) international, person to person call I was going to be told that my servo rod adaptor was a danger to mankind and the UN had been informed. Or was it the gin speaking ( geezer 😂😂😂)

Yeh is a mess. Got auto glass on the case. Doing the roof as well.

Created a false roof inside with 2mm Perspex and CT1 adhesive. Laying up after  feathering the edge all around the opening. Lapped glass over the edge in layers building a solid joint. Pleased so far. Going to get my body work guy Steve Peacock to finish when the glass is complete. 
got the new screen from Mike Taylor at Lotus bits yesterday. Lovely guy with a great workshop. Was very tempted with an offer of a sunbeam complete with a spare shell ( all dipped) 🤔🤔🤔
