Peoples’ reaction to your Evora

I don't even have the Evora yet in my possession but on the test drive I had 3 kids in the back of the car in-front all up on the backseats waving and giving the thumbs up as I pulled up behind them at the lights. Also had lots of rubber necking and second looks from people in other cars and on the footpath!

Looking forward to seeing what other reactions I get, love the fact that it connects with people and makes people happy! One of the reasons why I went for the Evora over other marques.

I'm sitting in the car outside a supermarket earlier this evening when a lad, in his early 20s I'd say, wanders past then whips out his mobile and starts taking pictures from the front and rear before continuing on his way. He gets about 10 paces or so before he feels compelled to turn around and stare back at the car, then walks on another 10 paces or so before repeating the longing gaze rearwards.

I wouldn't have minded if it had been my Evora that was the subject of his desire, why I would even have been a bit flattered, but no - his undivided attention was directed to a car parked a couple of spaces along from me. The Evora didn't warrant a second glance; in fact I don't think he even gave it a first glance,  .

I've been upstaged before in that very car park by a gangster-black Aventador so I wouldn't have minded so much if it had happened again but all his lust and desire was directed towards a flippin' 53-plate diesel Passat,  .

He probably has one himself and he's getting the necessary details so he can clone it's plates before embarking on some mischief.

The other day I was driving along an open A road when a sports bike (not sure what it was) came up behind me and sat on my rear right quarter. I thought he was trying to get me to "go for it" but in fact he was just having a good look at the car. After about 2 miles he tired of doing the legal limit and accelerated past me, giving me a big thumbs up on the way! Even bikers can have good taste in cars!

Had my Evora for 5 days and the attention its getting is unbelievable, almost towards the point of embarrasing.  I've had so many people want to chat about it and this morning I even had a workman salute me and a thumbs up as I drove past.

Also, I overheard somebody come into where I work shouting to the nightshift manager if he had seen that Ferrari out the front ?!

Do white ones get as much attention as other colours like red?  Thinking about getting an Evora for my commute. My red esprit se gets an absurd amount of attention so I'm hoping white might not be quite the same level!

Having only ever had a white one.... no idea how it compares, but you certainly can't sneak around under the radar

Excellent, well i wouldn't want it to be completely under the radar. Just not as loud looking as it could be for those times I'm stuck on the m25!  Just want to make the commute more fun than driving say a BMW.

This. My wife often notices people slowing and speeding up to get pics of mine. I have come back to it on 3 occasions to have to wait while people finish taking pics etc etc

well,  only had mine one day having picked it up on saturday, popped in to a superstore, came out to find a small group taking pics and having a good muse, was a bit embarrassed so went back inside, only for a few more to wander over, eventually went back to car, and had a quick chat/question session.

felt a right muppet when i had to tell them i only picked it up the day before..  At least i know my lotus knowledge & evora  history is passable

Well, mine was parked at Hethel recently, and people were staring at it and peering inside.... if that doesn't make me feel good I don't know what does

I believe a company called Recaro did some lovely seats, the CS I believe, that fit in the Evora well. I have a nice clean set in Charcoal Black for any 400 owners who want to upgrade to the S1 interior!

Recaro CS seats as they are so comfortable they want their VIPs and visitors to get the best....

Not yet they aren't but plans are well underway! 

I just need to get the right sized a/c d/c convertor to power them up. 

The ones I have here aren't man enough.

Looking forward to next winter already, lol.

Never understood why that colour was not more popular for the interior trim. Would look great in a white car too.

@C8RKH well.....the colors in the configurator looked a l i t t l e bit different.....even the leather piece of the dealer was different (a lot darker...) In 2012/2013 some customers from the usa ordered white with blue int

Pulled up outside the post office last night to find a big group of rather chavvy looking youngsters outside. I got out expecting the worst but instead I got loads of nice comments and genuine questions about the car, and there is now probably a video on social media of me giving it some beans for their benefit as I left!
