Oil catch can

Hi everyone,

Just looking to see if anyone has had any sucess in fitting a catch can to prevent oil entering the intake?

I found this resting in the air intake pipe.

This was along with a turbo that looked like it had an oil leak.

I have fitted a baffled catch can into the PCV system and a new PCV valve. So fingers crossed it works.

What kind of catch can did you buy and any pics of it installed?

I vent mine off to atmosphere via a small breather filter.. but then they don't have annual vehicle inspections where I live.

Should be simple enough to fit using a simple bracket,  You can purchase really small alloy ones that weight hardly anthing and will be easy to attach to something to support its own weight.

I ended up going for a mishimoto catch can. Its nice and compact so easy to fit in. For some reason it wont let me upload a picture of the instal the now. 

Its mounted on the side of the air filter cover. A hose with a valve runs from the bottom of the catch can to bottom of the frame so i can access it easily. 

Only time will tell if it works, fingers crossed.

i had a Greddy hanging on a bracket (just like the oil dip stick tube bracket) next to the oil dipstick.  All it did was fill up with water though.  I have a red and silver Greddy free if anyone wants.  I can't find an old pic of either installed though.
