Has anyone fitted a fire supression system to engine bay or can reccomend a company that supplies and fits them as looking to install one in my V8 after a potentially disastorous occurance. any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike

Hi Don My Eclat is Black and looks like a JPS although Lotus never did one officially did one for this model. Ibought it a few years ago from David Rowett and have slowly been getting various jobs done. I got it back on the road this summer and have been using it regularly over the summer and on the odd sunny dry day in the Autumn. Will take some picture over the weekend and post them up . Hi Richard Thanks for quick reply and great news that you can create the image. I would would like it in the style of the service notes with the wording "elite S2.2" as I think you are correct that Lotus used this wording and not "series" If this could be sent in pdf format then I can forward it on to the trimmer. I actually have two series 2 elites and a series 2 eclat riviera so wouls be interested in hearing about any events that you have planned for the 40th birthday. Many thanks again Mike

Hi I am having a set of mats made up for my series 2 Elite and want to have the logo "Elite Series 2.2" embroided on the front ones. Has anyone got a decent image of this so I can send to the company making them as they can't seem to find a decent one to use. Many thnaks Mike

Yes just turn up on the day. There will be permits issued by stewards outside the Brittania Pier for Lotus Cars and there is parking in that area for about 40 cars. There will be extra parking at the St Nicholas car park about a mile further south along the seafront (Pleasure Beach end) where all classic and interseting cars will be allowed to park free of charge. There will be a Spratts vintage coach running all day to transport the classic car occupants to the main event at Joyland and also stops at various museums along the way. As I get more details on the event I will post it up.Very soon there should be an official relaese am the Gt Yarmouth tourist site. I think if the weather holds it will be a great event . Mike

Classic Team Lotus have now confirmed that they will be bringing 5 cars to the Wheels Festival. Two in JPS colours, one in Gold Leaf , one in green and yellow and one in Camel livery. They will also have their merchandising stall and TV screens showing all the old cars in action. Mike

I am pleased to announce that Classic Team Lotus will be displaying at least 4 of their superb historic grand prix cars at the wheels festival to be held between Joyland and the American diner on Gt Yarmoth seafront on the weekend 3rd and 4th September 2106. The whole event is totally free to everbody and with Lotus being the headline act this year eveyone with a Lotus Car is welcome to display their cars for free in the dedicated area at the front of Brittannia Pier. Many other car clubs will be in attendance over the weekend and a full size F1 Car simulator will be avaialble as well as a F1 wheel changing challenge (with prizes for the quickest team) all absolutely free. There will also be more exibitors and stalls and as these are confirmed i will post them up. Just hope the weather is kind and the sun shines !!!!!! Mike

Hi Does anyone know if the Saturn alloy wheels fitted to the S4 model will fit a 93 SE Hi Wing as I am looking to put a set on mine ?? Has anyone done this and do they need machining to fit ?? Thanks Mike

I watched the Auction on line and it made £7900.00 so I assume the rest was made up of the normal rip off Auction buyer fees??? Still great to see prices finally getting somewhere near what these great cars are actually worth when compared to other so called "Classics"!!!!

I previously posted this in the wrong section. Does anyone know where I can buy a pair of front engine cover hinge plates. These are fixed to the engine cover and side into slots in the engine bay.Part numbers are A082U4769F ans A082U4770F. Or has anyone got a drawing of them or can lend me some to get them made??
