    I have a TC special and love it. I personally would avoid a zetec conversion as I feel it takes the soul out of the car and would affect future values by limiting your market place. Spyder chassis were once considered an upgrade but my personal experience is people want originality. My car is a spyder chassis and I will swap it back when the car is getting tired looking . Both car seems to be going up in price at the moment.

    Just insured the Elise. Me and a friend as a named driver including 6 track days £215 a year. 1500 Miles Per Annum. Thought I would let you all know as this is less than half of all the other quotes. Insured through Classic Line. Cheers Stu

    Evening all, I have just bought a lotus Elise S1. The car is not a garage queen it has done 80,000 miles so it be bought to be driven. Any recommendations on who offer insurance with track cover include ?

    The car is currently in the progress of being restored. It was at the silverstone classic on show this year. They managed to find the engine in Kent I think in a shed. I was at Silverstone with Alan Nobbs who is one of the original engineers on the project when it was racing. He also developed the original v8 that never went into production and was in the Etna too. He is a fountain on knowledge. Would love to see this run again
