I own an Elise Cup 250 FE with the AIM dash and I’m disappointed that I cannot use a gps unit or reverse camera. AIM say the MXLotus needs software update but it is not their device it is a Lotus device. Lotus after sales say it’s an AIM device and there’s nothing they can do. So, as a customer of Lotus (3rd new Lotus) and have an Emira on order, I am disappointed that us Final Edition owners have been left out in the cold with an unsupported product. Please advise. That's exactly where I intend to mount mine.... IF/When AIM sort the MXLotus to work with the camera. Can you share what the view looks like from there?

There is no firmware available

I’ve fitted the wireless camera module to the rear of the dash. I’m ready then for if/when they activate it. I’ve also dropped the Aftersales director an email at Lotus. We need to convince them that they owe it to us to develop the features we bought the cars for!

Mine got used properly today!

Diffuser was fine, still not fitted, but that's my issue not his The front panel was replaced by Jason, without issue. I paid postage, but kept old panel as well as new one. Need to sell the 'wonky weave' panel

I had a 500mile round trip with the EliseFE and I love the dash, I really do... BUT... I wish it wasn't hamstrung. I was on track at Anglesey and would have loved the GPS module to work, but can only order verB now Would also love the reverse camera to work too Really hoping AIM see to it that these functions will once again work.

I haven't been... but then I am i4, so who knows... grab a 2023 calendar and throw a dart at it!

I posted on the Facebook group to this effect... As a long time Lotus owner (4th lotus, but 6 Hethel made cars) I am rolling with the "meh, it's Lotus" approach, but it really is piss poor quite frankly. It HAS to change. I placed a £2k deposit, like many others, on the morning after the global launch (preGoodwood) and yet I've had 2 emails and maybe 2 phone calls in that time. The silence is deafening!

I am WELLjel of the driving lamps! I’d love to add them to the Cup250 grill.

Thing is, I’d even pay a sensible amount to add the reverse camera and other functionality.

5.9% is pretty high in this climate.

Which I think is not right. they really need to take on the updates and give us the functionality we were promised.

There’s about 350584 Cup250s

I've got a Certificate of Provenance, through @Bibs, due soon that will hopefully give the info for Cup250s. It's always really interesting in and a worthwhile reason to sign up to TLF as a gold member (along with the ProValet kit, also due soon hopefully).

We need to petition AiM via @Seriouslylotusto start developing new software for it. like @TonyKLfound, with the GPS module, the versionA works fine with the FE dash but the versionB now in existence does not. these are all things that could be rectified if AiM got on and sorted new firmware for us FE owners.

That's my feeling too. It's an every day car for me, so I'd forgo the forged wheels for the cast etc. So I want to know the option list before locking in an i4 FE.

Trip down the A34? I highly recommend Nick @ DetailMyCar, he's done several of my new cars and the same for JamesGray (buyer of your old White Evora)
