  1. Thanks for the offer @Bibs but I need 4 so I think I'll save a few quid and go with the link from @mik. Just a quick question to @mik - can you remember how long they took to be recognised by the car after you had the wheels fitted? I've managed to get 13 years out of the ones on the car, so that's not bad going. My hand was kind of forced after a blow out caused by a nail on the M42 - luckily the rim was fine!
  2. Hello people, Does anyone have confirmation of the part code for the TPMS on a 2011 Evora S? I keep finding conflicting information on-line and thought someone might be able to confirm! Thanks, Ed.
  3. So, I know a lot of S1 owners replace their knobs with new aluminium ones. My knob is looking a little worn and the leather is peeling off. Does anyone have their old knob lying around - preferably one with a paprika bottom half?
  4. Gave you a flash - these Evoras are getting common as muck!
  5. Yep - that was me. I take it you weren't in yours? I didn't notice one anyway...
  6. This video might be useful. This guy also has quite a few more interesting Evora videos on his channel.
  7. Just to add, I had a water leak into the passenger footwell and it turned out to be a badly sealed windscreen. Run your hand down the fabric on the A pillar on the inside of the car. After a good downpour, mine was wet at the bottom near where the where the warm heater air blows out. Resealed the screen and problem solved.
  8. Amazingly, I managed to find the Holy Grail and some Esso high octane stuff this afternoon. Can @Bibs PM me Rachel's contact info now please?
  9. Last Thursday the petrol light came on in the Evora. I went to fill up as usual, but it seems the four horsemen of the apocalypse have emptied the local petrol stations. It's my daily driver, and peddling around on my bike is getting old fast. My question is, what happens if I fill up with normal petrol? I always used BP Ultimate, but I reckon I've got more chance of waking up next to Rachel Riley than finding some of the high octane stuff.
  10. Thanks for the info. Well, at 7 hours for JAWS I think you can at least double that for me. Once I get the brackets I think it's off to Gav at Unit 4...
  11. Gave the car a well needed wash today, and it appears the mud flaps are flapping a bit too much! @Miguel can we still buy yours from anywhere? Also, can anyone weigh in on how easy they are to fit for an 'enthusiastic amateur'?
  12. Give Gavin a call at Unit 4 in Burton. He's an ex Lotus / TVR mechanic and has looked after my Lotus for the last 8 years since I moved to the area. He's the dogs danglers and very well regarded in the Lotus community.
  13. Actually there's two in Moira. The yellow one you mention (still haven't seen the owner although I cycle past his house with the kids most weekends) and mine. Common as muck round here.
  14. So I guess its a case of TADTS. How that got through QC amazes me. The joys of Lotus ownership.
  15. Something that's niggled me for the last three years is my 2011 Evora S clock loses a few minutes a month from the dash clock. The Evora is quick, but I don't think I'm going quite fast enough to explain time loss through Einstein's special theory of relativity. Does anyone else have this issue?
