  1. @Joseph Antabi is this the same switch that lotus sells? And you say you didn't need them to activate it through the ECU? I had the dealer install the OEM exhaust button switch but they had to activate it to work through the ECU - it also only works in normal mode. For track days I just plug the vacuum hose (mentioned earlier in this thread) so I can have the exhaust fully open on sport/race mode. However, I just can't be bothered anymore even though it's less than a minute to access the vacuum line so I leave it plugged all the time. Just curious how yours works in all modes without even the dealer enabling it through the ECU. My car is a 430 cup.
  2. I usually go either 12% or full off.
  3. I got my cup2 tires from camskill. No specific variant was made for the exige to my knowledge.
  4. Last weekend at Bahrain International Circuit
  5. As a matter of fact, yes they do. It's nothing unbearable though. I mostly use my car on track so it doesn't bother me.
  6. @Tex I also was happy with my OEM pads and wanted something similar. I replaced my OEM pads with PFC 08 - quite pleased with them.
  7. Happened to me once on my 430. Luckily it happened while I was collecting the car from the dealer during a service visit. I don't know what they did though. Collected it the next day and it was fine. Sorry not very helpful.
  8. Approx 4500kms...mostly track mileage!
  9. Couple of shots from an open track day a couple's of days ago
  10. For me it turned out to be a coolant reservoir+cap leak and therefore showing me the spanner symbol. I took it to lotus and they identified the problem right away from the spanner and identified the problem. They ordered a new reservoir+cap and all is good now.
  11. 18 months ownership and over 4500kms of which 90% are track driven and I didn't notice any unusual wear on mine. Seems to be holding up just fine so far. Rear fender plastic extension did come off during the first 500kms though.
  12. I was wondering if mileage would show but the last image you posted shows it on the bottom of the screen @alias23 I assume if you revert back to the stock dash mileage would carry over as well? I'm probably in as well!
  13. @Nightfire Great! Thanks. One last thing, did you ask them to mount it like that or is that the updated procedure from lotus?
  14. @alias23 you can really tell the quality is rubbish! As you mentioned, the cap is indeed coming from the seal/cap. @Nightfire was that done at the dealer? I'm thinking of asking them to do the same once my the part arrives. @vd9 thanks! I'm more bothered about possibly missing an upcoming track day than anything else.
  15. So a little update on this: Went on track last night and had the same 3 shift lights come on at 4k rpm. Stopped car started again and noticed the spanner come up on the dash and disappeared within 30 seconds. Everytime I stopped and start the car, the spanner would stay on for 30 seconds. Went out again and even though the shift lights were not coming up anymore, the power delivery wasn't as smooth felt like I had at least 100bhp less. Didn't have a code reader on me at the time so I left early. Went to the dealer this morning to check the spanner light issue and of course it didn't come up. Thankfully when he checked the code something did come up (attached image). I'm not sure if both are to the same issue or if I have 2 issues (seems like 2 from the codes). He says it's all related to the coolant reservoir leak. Apparently the coolant leak is causing the car to go into some limp/safety mode thus the feeling of 100bhp less. Waiting on lotus UK to see when they will send the new reservoir+cap and additional input. Funny thing is I've already had mined changed under warranty within my first 700kms. I don't think it was the new improved unit though. Anyone with a 410/430 check with your local for the recall (someone mentioned this in another thread recently)
  16. @Harald32 Thanks! Just wanted to confirm
  17. Can someone identify for me on the parts diagram which number I'm supposed to mill to achieve more camber in the front? Thanks!
  18. @Kristof Thys I googled the code and thought it was weird that "ford" kept popping up. Just am update, after I reset the code the problem didn't come back and the car was perfect. @Bibs sorry didn't check at the time. All is well now
  19. I did a couple of laps before my hot lap. Weird. Even though I didn't get a check engine light, we plugged in the code reader and got this : P123C i reset the code. Will see if it it goes into limp mode again
  20. Hi, I'm currently on track and had to go back in the pits after one hot lap. Wondering if anyone experienced the following:- At any gear past 4k rpm approx, I'm getting the 3 shift lights come up and I can't get past 4k rpm, it feels like a limiter. This happened after one hot lap. The only thing changed from last open track was that I removed the shim with the abs sensor and zip tied it. I also have the exhaust valve unplugged but I can't see how it can be related as it's been fine for the past 3+ track days with it unplugged. Any ideas? No check engine codes. Drives perfectly well under 4k rpm. 430 cup exige Thanks. Bader
  21. My failed reservoir replacement was done over a year ago. I doubt I got the revised version. I just took it for the annual service last week and wasn't informed of the recall. I'll check with them. Thanks for the heads up!
  22. Had a coolant leak within my first 1000km on my 430 cup. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the coolant reservoir.
