Was dry, was looking good. Just checked and snowing again, daily driver is covered Forecast for tomorrow is for dry and slightly warmer so roads should be good by tomorrow evening - hopefully.

Although after last week it appears the Highways Agency got some salt, grit, sand & cement for Xmas and decided to spread as much as possible on every local bloody road last Wednesday ! Hi All I have been offered a 10% group buy discount on Stand 21 boots for 5 or more orders. I currently have 4 people (including myself) interested. Today I went to Brands Hatch to visit the Stand 21 showroom. Tried on a couple of pairs to get the size right. Seem to be very well made and a great fit. They also look superb, much better in the flesh. You can also customise them anyway you want i.e your name / car embroidered on the ankle strap etc. I am a UK size 9 the equivalent EU size is 43, which works out at 9.5. These fitted perfectly. Stand 21 will be at Race Retro if you would like to try some. They will also be at Silverstone for the 24hr race on the 9th and 10th March. Long story short I have placed my order for the Lotus green / mustard suede boots. These are fully custom boots and made to order, with a 5 week lead time. If anyone is interested and wants more info including pricing please PM me asap. I am having to pay full price at the moment but if 4 or more order a pair before mine are ready Stand 21 will honour the discount for all of us.

Anyone else from the Hampshire group up for this - bit of a jaunt but sounds fun. Been on the radar for a few weeks but now booked it. It is also now open to other Lotus other than Exiges

Not sure this is the correct section to post this - feel free to move it if not. I have entered the above Rally 2015 and 2016 in my Healey. Have just sent the entry off for this year and noticed a Lotus Elan is competing, one of the first to enter after the entries opened. Is it anyone on here ? Great rally, not too hard on the cars, all on tarmac and some excellent apres rally socialising Held in June on the superb public roads around North Wales and Anglesey It also includes a number of closed sections.
