  1. Thanks mate. Yeah, with some minor mods the S1s still look pretty great. No one believes it’s 11 years old. BTW, they’re the Transforged Eclipse lights - bit bigger and more shapely than the GRP I believe. Another pic with more sun - as you can see I didn’t clean the car before pic so you can see my lovely daughters smudges on the side 😐
  2. Thanks mate, they’re Koya semi-forged. As far as I can tell, they’re only available in Australia. A few people have asked over the years, but no one has managed to get them shipped internationally as yet. Took me lots of measuring / experimentation to get the offsets / widths I wanted years ago! Haha.
  3. Big launch edition fan here 🥰
  4. Yep, bought my Evora because of the backseats (baby was on the way then). I’d still have the Elise if it wasn’t for the rear seats.
  5. I read on another forum that it wasn’t a paid comment as you have to list it as such when positing if it is. Absolutely no idea if this is true.
  6. I reckon the NA (launch editions at least) do sit slightly higher, particularly at the back. Mine was higher than the S models, even with the same sized wheels fitted.
  7. I’m not sure if you can get the PSS anymore, but the PS4S are a night and day improvement over the PSS in every way. I’m not only speaking on Evora’s, we have two identical hot hatches and even the near bald PS4S have noticeably more grip than the PSS on the other car.
  8. Yep, three years with mine and nothing at all really (other than having to clean the throttle body).
  9. Fair call. Mine had the Lotus Sports exhaust also, but it wasn’t quite enough for me. Each to their own.
  10. Launch editions are cracking cars IMO. Bonus the clutch has been done and as others have said the rest seems minor. Remaining spanner could be something as simple as a throttle body clean. Agreed re the long box. If anything it’s second that needs to be shorter (almost takes you to 130kph) and it’s the same in both boxes. Can highly recommend fitting an aftermarket exhaust. The 3.5 Toyota so I can sound surprisingly impressive 👌🏼
  11. If you have the space, why not get a hot hatch also? I used to commute in my Elise for years, but the Aussie sun was killing it all day every day so I bought a hot hatch to do most of the commute and used the Elise for fun. I do the same with the Evora.
  12. Seems most comments have been covered here. I’m also in love with my NA, perfect amount of power to be able to have fun on the street IMO. We have carried our daughter around in it (and done plenty of road trips) since she was forward facing. She absolutely LOVES it, although the purring engine behind her often puts her to sleep pretty quickly. There is not heaps of space, but it’s easily doable if your wife isn’t too tall. Just make sure you test fit a couple of seats to pick the best fit.
  13. That’s cool. Ben Collins was the Stig wasn’t he? 🤫
  14. I run my 19/20 on 30/34psi. No probs.

    Stick or Twist?

Thanks for the comparison mate 👍🏼
  16. Thanks for the summary. Great to hear no major issues over 100k 👍🏼
  17. Agreed, I’ve sold all of my Lotus for more than I paid originally. Even owned the last one for 8 years and more than doubled the Kms.
  18. Yep, my Launch Edition still smells of leather. I sat in a couple of brand new 410s at the dealer recently, they had a very strong glue smell. Hopefully they would fade over time.
  19. It may just be the pic, but you should easily be able to get over that if you approach at an angle and get one front wheel up on the road first.

    EVORA Weight

I’d imagine bigger wheels and tyres could add 15-20kg, supercharger and associated pipe work etc (what, 20-30kg?), is the exhaust a different weight given it has an actuator etc, beefier suspension components add some weight (sway bars etc)? Fluids might weigh more (more oil etc for coolers)? Diffuser is bigger (but plastic). Prob all adds up I guess.
