  1. Having now read the Car, Autocar & Top Gear’s actual magazine reviews (thanks Readly…..the incredible value in what you offer, never fails to amaze!) it’s now clearer to see, that all who’ve driven Emira so far (the videos only give a suggestion of them being impressed!), can’t praise the car enough!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Lotus really are on a massive comeback journey with this the first of many new products, in the coming years. Makes you proud to be a Lotus fanatic! I’m glad to say & I said it since the start, but with Emira there are now clearly going to be happy times ahead for Lotus!😎
  2. It does look good and well received so far👍 Great to see things moving forward😎
  3. I changed my original Carbon 380 Sport rear access panel to the Carbon 380 Cup version…..& rear spoiler. Before & after pics below. Straightforward enough - finding one will be your challenge😬
  4. Brilliant news Paul…..definitely one of the very best Turbo Esprit’s left. So glad it never left the country and went to Japan….good work. To celebrate here is a beautiful photo of the car when Jonny owned it, and the now infamous (in Turbo Esprit circles anyway!😉) video he shot……beautiful!😎👏🏻👏🏻
  5. I totally agree but it reminds me of it a little and would’ve preferred it didn’t but again they were limited with what they could do I dare say. It’ll still do well as it’s been marketed far better than the Evora ever was👍
  6. Just generic design I suppose. But they went more radical on the front like they did with Evija. But there’s an argument to say that Emira looks very Ferrari 430 from the front…..🤔
  7. These new FE 430 Cup wheels work really well.😎
  8. Looking good @Barrykearley but when are we going to get the wheel swap?🤔😉
  9. The cut out sides are the awkward part for me…. I missed the wheels in my last post……I don’t feel any of the options available really do much for the car, especially the black ones - it’s a GT car in its current spec and black wheels don't generally work for those…….better for the hardcore sporty variants. Although I think if they offered an Anthracite or Gold option both would work well. Like bums though we’ve all got an opinion😉👍
  10. Looks to be Military Grey😎
  11. They’ve done a good job given they were having to in effect remodel an Evora. Although I’m convinced it’s the rear lights design that isn’t as good as it could be. The rear clusters are very Aston in their design - see attached. Too generic to me and the back of the car doesn’t match brilliantly with the front. Would’ve also liked to have seen something done with the rear hatch instead of the glass they’ve gone with…..but it looks like they’ve gone Caymen-generic there to appeal to more non-Lotus buyers. It’s not an ugly car by any means but it’s a little awkward in places. Still think it will do well though👍😎
  12. Looks good. Can’t help thinking non-black pack cars like this one, would look better with body coloured mirrors….🤔
  13. Showing as Buy it Now at £109k
  14. They’re being built in a factory that’s capable of building 100k vehicles a year so that’s probably an easier starting point!😉 I’ve stated it many times but gearing up the infrastructure and transforming Hethel is not the work of a moment! We’ll look back on this in a years time and think they’ve done a marvellous job…..but I agree with @TomE above they could have chosen to communicate more to those purchasing, but it will be up there, amongst a million other items on the list of to do’s!👍
  15. That’s why I get personally frustrated when people don’t seem to understand the work involved at Lotus right now - it’s a massive undertaking and if it takes a couple of months longer than planned before cars are available then that’s the way it goes. There’s more to it than people appreciate
  16. There are apparently A LOT of them out there doing that very thing right now all over the World! All very interesting and intriguing. That one is definitely Spain (Mercadona is one of the main Spanish Supermarket chains) so maybe warm weather testing?
  17. Decent amount for a non-original example in many ways…..and not somewhere I’d expect the true potential of any car to be realised.
  18. Will it sell this time though?🤞😎 I’ve personally always thought (in recent times anyway) that if you want to realise the top value of a classic, this is the auction to sell at. That said, I don’t think I’d be happy leaving my pride & joy unattended in an environment where kids are able to run around freely…..😳 A “DO NOT TOUCH” sign, would lead to the exact opposite outcome I reckon!😰😄
  19. I’m sure all the patience will pay off in the end…👍
  20. Another new colour shows it’s face for the first time - Meridian Blue?🌈 It’s almost time folks……😎
  21. John I’d be keen to bring my Turbo Esprit to the Glamis show - what’s the process to get it entered?
  22. That looks cracking!😎👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍
