Sadly though, despite me having my Esprit back on the road again, I won't be able to make the inaugural March Moat Meet as I'll be 12000 miles away in Australia at the time So, I'll see you guys at the Moat Meet on 3 April

Following on from the discussion this time last year when Chris bought an Elan, http://www.thelotusf...-the-lightness/, it appears that Chris has now bought a white S1 Esprit from UK Sports Cars and picked it up on 21 Jan 2012 Now, I don't like encouraging people to visit UK Sports Cars but their website home page is showing some pics e.g. I can't believe no-one else has picked up on this story already !!

You're probably thinking of 'Attack of The Mutant Camels' and 'Revenge of The Mutant Camels' which were two of the best games for the C64 written by Jeff Minter's Llamasoft 'Software House' !! I still have my C64 in the loft and one of my favourite games was Revs which was one of the best racing sims of its time.

I think its fair to say I was the smallest person in the car at the time. However, it was even funnier with Gary (gt111) in the back on the way to Brands with Bibs 'testing the brakes'

I did 15 mins in the back of Bibs' Evora last night. In that short time, I got a pain in the neck, back and legs - hardly surprising really - but you guys sat in the comfort of the driver's seat don't know how lucky you are in comparison

It was great to meet you all last night folks. Bibs - I'm still stunned by the quality of that Wherry. If you can do the same with Admirals Reserve and Nelson's Revenge, you'll have the makings of a very lucrative microbrewery And my neck is still buggered from those oh so comfy full leather rear seats in the blue car But it really is a stunning car - far exceeded my already high expectations

It was definitely not his white one. The one I saw was bog standard - standard Ruote Oz alloys, standard rear spoiler.

Just happened to be gazing out of my front window when a white Stevens Esprit went passed westbound at 10:10 ish this morning. It had a Turbo/SE spoiler on the back but didn't catch the plate. A very rare and welcome sight

My apologies for not coming when I thought I would be. Was delayed significantly by the scrapping of my dead Mk1 MR2... Will defo be there next month
