My son went car shopping yesterday 😁

Garage extension done so now I can park the Esprit and connect it to a battery conditioner/trickle charger. This means in turn we can fit all the rest of our cars on the drive 😁

I’m there every Sunday from 9am till about lunchtime so just let me know when you’re coming. As for the Excel in Sainsbury’s car park if it was Ice Blue and in the corner furthest from the door then yes it was. I work there and it is now my daily driver 😁

Not sure we need to organise an official meet. They welcome any cars any day 🙂

Hi I live just outside Newbury in Berkshire and we have had a new establishment open which might be of interest and a place to meet with your cars. it’s called Podium Place https://podiumplace.co.uk/ It not only serves freshly roasted coffee and food, but also houses a selection of performance cars which can be purchased if you have some spare cash. There has been other car clubs that have met at this cafe and there is usually something interesting in the car park. I am a regular at the weekend with both my Excel and Esprit and would love to meet up for a coffee and chat if you are in the area. Sue

As the title suggests I have been a member of this forum before. Nearly 11 years ago my husband bought me an S3 Turbo Esprit and I loved it (when it was working). Needless to say for a 30+ year old car this was not always the case. So after 4 years and a brief ownership of a Lotus Excel I wanted a more reliable car. So to cut a long story short after 7 years of owning a BMW 840 and 4 years of owning a Porsche 944s I am returning to my first super car love. So at the end of the month (lots going on) I will hopefully be in possession of another S3 Turbo Esprit, and because I’m married to a lovely man and we never do things by halves, I will also have a Lotus Excel. Its good to be back Sue

Well there is a BMW 840 ci 96 sitting on my drive. Completely different driving experience but I think I will have fun. For the technical specs pleas talk to my live in mechanic.
