This is very interesting for me as when I bought my Esprit in 1987 I had three choices for the budget of £10k I had.
- S3 Esprit NA
- 308 GT4
- E-type (can't remember which version)
There was a house 1/2 mile from me that had an Esprit. One Saturday in May 1987 it was out on the drive, I turned around and pulled up to the house and asked the owner about his experiences with the car. He said that he was looking to part exchanging it for a Mercedes. I asked how much did he want, he said £10.5k. I replied take me for a drive - at the end of the drive I said that I'll buy it - had it ever since.
In 1987 turbos were £15k - so I got a bargain. I think that he had been offered £10k trade in value. and just added £500 on.

Reading elsewhere, the "flag" colours are these - which are a "a playful update to the cross of St George"
I find it annoying whenever I watch England (that isn't that often to be fair), that they don't play in red & white kit, but normally have blue shorts or blue in the shirt.

If you are sick and wouldn't go to work due to the illness, you are sick - do not work from home.
1 hour ago, Bibs said:Even if you've booked a week off holiday and you're lazing around in the garden, you call in sick rather than use booked holiday.
I've claimed holiday back twice, both times my employer questioned it, then accepted that I was correct. I was abroad both times. I think it was initially an EU regulation. Taking sick leave - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Should be back on display when we are in New York in 2 weeks time. Will add it to our list of things to do.

Baltimore Bridge Disaster

I think that you can see the construction vehicles on the bridge when it collapses.
Here's the route the boat took - you can see a deviation at the end.
Longer video than showing on the BBC
Very fortunate that there were no cars going over at the time of the collapse.
