  1. There is a large car park in front of the main building. Take care on the approach roads which are laced with speed bumps, mostly labelled clearly as "Ramps". Should be two of us in the JPS.
  2. I agree with @peteyg. The whole trim should just fit snugly into place around the gear tunnel. The three self tappers screw into flanges mounted on the tunnel and provide added security to the rear of the trim.
  3. Nice to have another Lotus bling enthusiast on here! Picture?
  4. You need to get hold of some of the clear plastic surrounds. These are marked no 30 on the parts diagram. And there is photo of the surrounds in situ. I did a post on my experiences with the fibre optic lighting some time ago.
  5. Diary now clear. See you all on Sunday. Will probably bring a guest.
  6. I think that the S1 Esprit started around 7605/0100G being manufactured in May 1976. And that the S2 Esprit started around June 1978 (within the same VIN scheme). The last S2 was probably manufactured early in 1980 (at which point the S2.2 took over) and would have a serial number with date and car number not higher than 8005/0943G. (The lower and upper end of the range are based on my interpretation of data in the workshop manual for the S1/S2 Esprit. Of course, someone else may have a better grasp of this!) So perhaps 843 S1/ S2 Esprits manufactured for the UK market. Some cars were manufactured for overseas markets and have numbers ending in H or J, which presumably will not show up in the DVLA data. The search complication is that the year and month are serialised (7605 to 8005), as well as the car numbers (0100 to 0943). So over to you. At 3p per successful query, if we found all 843 that would be about £25, which I would be happy to send you. But there are probably many gaps!
