Great video and really like your whole approach to this project and others you've done. I've missed the whine of a supercharger ever since I bought this car having had that noise for ten years previous and actually laughed as you did that face on the last video clip as I know exactly what that feels like, really, really looking forward to getting the kit on my car.

A quick update the Ali blocks arrived today. These will be individually cnc machined to make the MAF flanges. Hoping to book the CNC bench end of next week to make a start 👍

Last night was EPIC! Had a great evening track day session with a number of Exige V6s, Cups, and a 410... really good fun and great conditions. Happy to report the car performed very well except for the pretty worn Cup2s I should have probably replaced before show time.

This was a good test for the intake, again pretty warm summer conditions to have to deal with, and also a drive by noise limit of 98db. At no point did the car receive a noise warning and by no way was there any short shifting or letting off... lets say it was a full throttle session which this little clip demonstrates 🤣
 

Hopefully a proper video to come when I get time. Looking at offline data shows the car consistently performed lap on lap with no perceived degradation of power leading from heat soak, as a standard practise I do open the rear hatch when back in the pits to help with cool down post each session. I'm still very happy with the design and its position in the engine bay. Great evening and soo good to see more and more of the Exige V6S on track!

As I own a 350 Sport and live only 20 mins away, Imran kindly offered to fit my intake for me so that he could familiarize himself with any nuances of the 350 compared to the V6S. The actual availability and fitting came up very quick;y. As soon as Imran had received the ally tube from Europe then it was processed and the assembly completed yesterday in double-quick time and yesterday evening fitting commenced - this was the first one of the production batch; I felt honoured 🙂 

I collected the car this morning and what can I say. For those of you that have ordered the intake, you will not be disappointed. Firstly, how it looks and to my eyes it looks really nice, very professional. The welds are lovely and installed in the car it looks factory not aftermarket. The stock airbox has gone, thank christ. When you look at the stock box it seems such a torturous route for air to flow whereas with the new intake it’s just a direct straight flow - it’s got to be better right?

DAMN RIGHT! Driving the car, throttle response is much sharper, the sucking of air is audible and I can now actually hear my supercharger! The car felt quicker and more urgent and I wasn’t giving it full chat as Imran advised to give the ecu time to learn the new airflow initially to avoid the possibility of any error codes. I suppose I drove it for about 45 mins and towards the end of the journey I was giving it a bit more stick with no protests from the ecu.

I’m really pleased with this modification, it just lets the engine breathe, you can tell it’s much happier and you will be too.

Well done Imran, give yourself a pat on the back pal, your hard work has been well worth it. 👍

At this stage we have only tested on the V6 and 350 platform. The 410 and 430 will require a slightly different design.

Just a quick note, following an question posed on email, the ITGs come pre-oiled therefore you should not have to worry about oiling them before install - Its already been done
