@C8RKH This ones not an auction Andy - there are 2. One is an auction ad (I posted a separate topic for that one) and the other a private sale.

It would sit nice....in the garage next to the Fire Red Evora😉

My bad - was confused by the "next item" which was the red one at auction.

Yes, would look great. Maybe next year, time not right as I need to get a four post lift!  ;)  I do fancy another car.....

Looks good but no access to a forklift!  Great price though indeed!

The steering at parking speed is ridiculous but once it gets going it is wonderful, the gear change is old school and weighty, it is also seriously quick. For 23k that is a no brainer, buy the fcuking thing and thank me later.

I currently have a 1971 Elan Plus 2 S/130 but I’ve done all the work I want to do to it really and have fallen in love with the Esprit. I’ve been told if I’m to do a straight swap price wise I’d be looking for an S3 that may need some interior work and tidying up for around the 20K mark. What do you all think? any advice would be great, thanks.

There’s a whole lot of classic elans about presently - even Paul Matty isn’t keen on buying at this present time it seems - I do know of a minter almost concours example and the money he offered on it was eye wateringly low. There is a very wide spread between average/good/minter.

Best thing to do is pop yours up in the classifieds section 👍
