James, if it is the battery, I think in your shoes I’d be asking the garage your bought it from to pay for a new one.  They shouldn’t be letting batteries get completely flat, and sometimes going this causes irreparable damage to it, such that it won’t retain a full charge any more.

Hi all, problem has got more annoying now. I tried to put the passenger window down to reset it, it didn't go all the way down, but went in jerks, it now won't go back up again!! And is stuck half way down, with rain on the way...

The window seemed to work yesterday.

It actually sounds like the window actuator is on the way out.  An easy fix but the part is expensive so I'd be back to the garage for them to diagnose and order the right part. Would be covered by any warranty.  Good luck.

I came into this world screaming and covered in someone elses blood. I'll probably leave it in the same way.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

Ah, that's annoying! Not the best of starts.. Car now has a bin bag over the window!!

I've contacted them, hopefully they'll let me take it to a local specialist. Paul matty is near us.
