It was a scam. I lived with someone who had six weeks off on full pay for a number of instances of Covid (public sector). That person went out of their way to ensure that they became infected.

I should have said that I’m on the officers side. They don’t make the rules, they were asked to enforce them. If you wanted to be an idiot and break the law with regard to an illness that little seemed to be known about, what you get, you get.
