Great stuff!  120mph for hours on end on the autobahn must have been a good test of the car's reliability and it sailed through it.

This is utterly brilliant - and illustrates the vision Chapman had for the wedge generation. Pace, grace, space with high MPG and (relatively) low emissions. 

When will Governments learn, they need to tax cars on weight to encourage manufacturers to lose bulk and therefore reduce the carbon impact from source to showroom to scrap and local pollution (large brakes and tyres cause excessive dust in the atmosphere).
