South Hertfordshire people, where do you take your car for servicing and repairs?

My Lotus Evora is a little sick, has a rough idle and is slow and lazy to rev up.  No warning light on the dash but its definitely not running right.

I normally take my car to be serviced by ES Motorsport but they are very busy with racing at the moment and not able to look at the car for a while.  I'm also not sure of driving all that way on an engine that is not running cleanly.

So wondering where you lot take your cars to get serviced and repaired in the hope of finding somewhere nearby.  I live in Hemel Hempstead but anywhere in the South Herts / North London area will do.

Thanks, have used them before and had good experiences.   Still a little far from me but could be an option if I get recorded very truck to transport the car.

I was really after somewhere a lot more local, was hoping there would a good independent car garage that people use not necessarily a Lotus specialist.

Have you heard of https://thebeaconsfieldworkshop.co.uk   they advertise in club lotus mag. Would be closer to you in Hemel.

Totally forgot about the Beaconsfield Workshop! I’ll give them a call first and keep Castle and Hoffman’s as backups.
