The 340R on Collecting Cars auction site also sold. £60k after the auction. Another low miler. 

The restored press car is coming to the market soon, seen used by Tiff N in a Top Gear TV film in 2000.

Low mileage cars will fetch a significantly higher price than leggy Rs. The CAT C one is a very tough sell. The owners handbook wallet is wrong as are the maintenance and directory booklets to add to the whiff of it not being sound.

They do sell in the £60k price bracket for proper cars, which this appears to be. You won't find many low owner low mileage 340R for sale. 

It may take a while to sell but I think they will find someone - perhaps not with winter and wars currently though 🙂

I see that Barry Ely still has his 8k miler up for a fiver under £60k in the latest Club Lotus mag.  I'm not sure he really wants to sell it as its not on his website - maybe too much fun at Combe.  Looks like a bargain against some of those!

Yes but I don't think he does want to sell it. I saw him this year at Castle Combe. 

And it is not as clean as #165 appears to be. Whilst I think it optimistic at near £70k, I see the reasoning.
