The stillborn Lotus Type 66 has been ‘reimagined’ as a £1m track car, powered by an 830bhp “period-representative” V8, tuned by Lotus. Carbonfibre body and redesigned floor produces 800kg of downforce at 150mph. 0-60mph in under 3s and a top speed approaching 200mph.

This looks like a fun toy, very boy racer,  and  is a departure from the sketch they published when they launched APC. I wonder where this 840 BHP V8 is coming from Cosworth, AMG?

Very cool.  Shame Chapman didn’t do it at the time.  Would have been great to have seen it up against the Lola T70s and McLaren M6s.  Here are the blue print from the original proposal.
