error codes esprit se

I have an Esprit Se 1992 engine check light, had it read in the garage as code 24 and 44 or 46 did not see the latter properly, the garage promised to give me the explanation of the code but nothing, does anyone know what this fault code means? , thanks in advance

Code 24 VSS vehicle speed sensor

Code 44 Oxygen sensor (detected lean mixture)

Code 46 doesn’t exist.

Try the RH rear suspension alloy hub.

And do yourself a favour - get a copy of the Service Notes and parts manual for your car. You’ll find them a valuable aid.

But don’t confuse it with the ABS sensor in the same area (if you car has ABS that is)
